The August 10-16 issue of American Profile magazine featured my sandwich bag art on the cover. The bags go with a piece they did on “making school lunch cool.”
Always thought this was awesome, so I decided to start doing it for my kids as the first one just started kindergarten. I’ve read that you use silver for “white”, however, some of the bags look really white. Is there something else you use? Thanks for inspiring.
Sharpie also makes a white but it is not like their regular markers. It is oil based so it flows different and I think you have to shake it before using it. I just got one but haven’t tried it yet. The silver I use is similar to their regular markers. It looks white when the background is bread.
Just experiment and most of all have fun doing it!
