Ponytail comes off Wednesday night at the Attleboro Arts Museum. The cutting will be after the awards and artists recognitions at the Seeing Double exhibit opening (begins at 7, cutting around 8:30).
Still time to make a donation to the Annual Fund, see below. The Attleboro Arts Museum needs the donations more than I need my hair.
If you make at least a $10 donation to the Annual Fund I will cut my ponytail, get a crewcut or even shave my head.
Every $250 = 1 inch trimmed. So far 4 inches, that’s half of my ponytail, is going to get cut.
So $2,000 takes it off. $4,000 collected I’ll get a crewcut and $5,000 is a complete shave.
Together we can maintain the opportunities the Attleboro Arts Museum offers for the youth and adults in the Attleboro area. Your donation to the Annual Fund will ensure that the Museum will continue to transform lives through the arts.
You have until the July 7th at the Seeing Double opening to make a donation OR you can do it online. The Museum has a secure site (click the link below). Just make sure where it says DONATION TYPE you select Annual Fund; and where you are asked HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US? type in “Haircut.”
Click on the scissors above to make your online donation or mail a check to the Attleboro Arts Museum, 86 Park St., Attleboro, MA 02703 make sure you put “Annual Fund/Haircut” on the check, or stop by the Museum and drop off your donation.
All donations are tax-deductible and help support the Attleboro Arts Museum’s Annual Fund.
I thank you for your donation.
The Attleboro Arts Museum appreciates your support!
I will get my ponytail cut, get a crewcut or shave my head depending on the donations made by July 7, 2010. I will be posting the totals as I get them followed by the grand total. Before and after pictures and maybe even a video to prove that I followed through.
